When you’re thinking of starting a sex career whether it’s for extra cash or merely something you just enjoy doing so you figured why not make a few coins from it, there are so many options to consider. One may think they’d do perfect over the phone versus showing their bodies on the internet for strangers to view.
So the question is, which is better? In my personal experience I’ve found that both have its challenges so I can’t really say which one is actually better. I’ve equally enjoyed doing both forms of work. I’ve discovered some things about myself and my personality. I’ve managed to balance out which ones I’d do and when. Sort of like a schedule. For me it was all about trial and error. Still is.
Now when it comes to others, such as yourself, the best advice I can give is, to do what is best for you. And if you don’t know what that is just yet, here are some things to consider.
Phone sex is more intense. You’re creating a fantasy for your clientele. Although they can see you, like in photos, or videos you’ve perhaps published on your site or profile, at the end of the day they’re calling you for an actual conversation. They want to hear your voice up close and personal. They want to hear your desire for their fantasy and them. There’s something about hearing one’s voice and carrying a conversation that makes the bond a bit stronger. Even down to the breath of you and your caller. You can hear it all. However, it’s great for shy folks who just want to talk and create a fantasy with their admirers.
Webcamming is less personal in my opinion. It’s a very professional atmosphere. They’re watching you, talking to you but no voices are heard outside of your own. Unless they take you into a private show. Webcamming can be nerve wrecking because they’re watching your every move. Your lighting has to be right, your background has to be neat, your look needs to be desirable. And that's not to say you need to physically be drop dead gorgeous, remember your personality is everything. You need to figure out ways to set yourself aside from other models. And most importantly, you can’t fake an orgasm. Toys are helpful, having a bubbly personality is helpful, being playful and coming up with fresh material and games to keep them entertained and watching you.
Both jobs are like acting but if you enjoy the work, it isn’t hard to do. Like any other job, it takes work, time and effort. It’s a question of how exciting will it be for you? No one wants to talk to an operator or a model who isn’t interested in what they’re doing. Another thing I’ve learned is most clients aren’t calling or looking at you solely for their pleasure, they’re doing it to genuinely have fun in a nonjudgmental world. They want all parties to have fun, relax and be themselves. The best part about it is they’re paying you for it. Don’t get me wrong, there are clients who want total control, but they normally seek submissive participants.
These days, more and more sites are integrating their platforms by adding features like the option to upload videos, PSO’s can webcam and take phone calls in one setting so that you won’t have to join different sites for different services. And as I’ve stated before, ultimately what you do is your decision and it’s about how comfortable you are. Feel yourself out first. Ask yourself, “can I see myself doing that?” And if you can’t, then you simply move forward to the next gig.
I hope this helps. If you have any questions don’t be afraid to reach out.
